Welcome and thanks for visiting. This site is dedicated to my love of photography, particularly nature photography. Somewhere along the way, the pictures that I took of my hiking adventures became more than just a record of places I had been. The photos had become the point of my travels, and remain so to this day.

Prints of any of these photos are available, but these are only a small sample of a working catalog of more than 500 photographs compiled over three years or so.

All images on this site are unaltered. While I work with digital cameras exclusively these days, I still work in the traditional film style. I do not consider minor color adjustments or sharpening to be alterations, because these are things that are done in a traditional darkroom. However, there are no elements that have been cloned out of these pictures, nor have I added any shape, color, or other element that wasn't there when I took the photograph. All the sunsets are real, all the rocks, trees and flowers are actually in place, etc. I don't feel that there is anything wrong with digital imaging, as long as the image is defined as such and not passed off as an unaltered image.
